How to get there

By train

By Kintetsu Line: From Namba and Tsuruhashi Stations in Osaka, it is between 15 to 21 minutes to Ikoma on the Kintetsu rapid express train (kaisoku kyuko) or 18 to 24 minutes on an express train (kyuko) bound for Nara. By Chuo Subway/Kintetsu Keihanna Line: Ikoma Station is on the Keihanna (green) subway line, about 26 minutes from Hommachi (downtown Osaka). There is a shuttle bus to Chapel from in front of the Mitsui Sumitomo Bank on the south side of Ikoma Station (about 9:45 and 10:45).

By car

From Nara, get on the Hanna Highway heading toward Osaka. 200 meters past the Ikoma Interchange, turn left at the International Chapel sign.

From Osaka, get on the Hanna Road heading toward Nara. Exit the highway at the Ikoma Interchange, turn right, go under the highway and immediately turn right to get back on the Hanna Road heading towards Osaka. 200 meters past the entry toward Osaka, turn left at the International Chapel sign.

Free parking is available.

IIC Program (Sunday Morning)

10:00 Bible study / English conversation class

11:05 Bible Hour (Japanese-English bilingual worship service)

Sunday school (for children 4 to 14 years old) is held most weeks. On the first Sunday of each month, however, the children attend the Bible Hour with their parents.

About 12:20 Coffee Time

1:00 Lunch (There is no lunch prepared the first Sunday of each month, but people are welcome to bring their own food and eat together in the building.)

How to get there

By train

By Kintetsu: Shintanabe Station is 23 minutes from Kyoto and 20 minutes from Nara.

By JR: Kyotanabe Station is 39 minutes from Kyobashi Station and 47 minutes from Osaka Station.

Note: As of November 2010, the shuttle service from Shintanabe and Kyotanabe stations to Kyoto Chapel is no longer in operation. However, at the Shintanabe bus stop, Keihan offers a bus that stops at Kusauchi, very close to Kyoto Chapel. Thank you for your understanding.

 

By car

From the Keinawa Highway, the Tanabe Nishi interchange is 5 minutes away by car. Stay on Route 307 and turn left 300 meters before the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge.

From Route 24, turn west and cross over the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge. Stay on Route 307 for 300 meters  and turn right to the north.
